Building a decoupled, heterogeneous-compatible networking infrastructure for agent-to-agent interconnection.
With the rapid advancement of large language models and generative AI, AI agents are moving from concept to large-scale adoption and becoming the core connected entities of the Internet, which is being reshaped from "host interconnection + information exchange" to "agent interconnection + capability collaboration".
Traditional networks are centered on hosts and information delivery and cannot support the registration, discovery and collaboration of massive heterogeneous agents. Building open, trusted, high-performance agent networking infrastructure is a key prerequisite for large-scale deployment of the Agent Internet.
The Agent Networking Infrastructure (ANI) MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) project aims to build an open global technology community. Targeting carrier and vertical-industry application scenarios, it builds open, trusted, high-performance agent networking infrastructure, maximizes compatibility with mainstream application-layer technology ecosystems, and provides open reference implementations — accelerating consensus on multi-agent networking scenarios and protocols, and promoting their adoption across industries.
